Coaching Philosophy & Development Approach
That Pickleball Academy is built on a high-performance coaching structure designed not only to develop players, but also to continuously develop coaches. Our academy is driven by a leadership group with competitive pedigree, international exposure, and strong ties within Singapore’s pickleball ecosystem.
Our academy’s coaching ecosystem is built on three core pillars:
1. Structured Coach Education
Continuous internal training ensures coaching quality remains consistent and progressive.
2. International Knowledge Integration
Exposure to global systems — including Vietnam training experiences — keeps our methodology current and competitive.
3. Player Pathway Development
From kids and beginners to tournament athletes, we provide a complete development pathway supported by qualified coaches and competitive mentors.
Full-Time Coaching Structure
We currently operate with five full-time coaches who are undergoing a structured internal development pathway led by Head Coach and Co-Founder Aron Ong.
