Today marks the first day of the June school holidays, and we officially kicked off our Performance Junior Camp!

Day 1 of 8, and we are grateful to be running at full capacity.

As much as we are grooming our performance juniors, we are also concurrently guiding athletes transitioning from other sports and introducing newcomers to the game. We believe that if we want to build a new wave of competitive juniors, we must be willing to start from ground zero.

Every high-performance athlete was once a beginner. Every national player was once a child learning the basics.

What excites us most is seeing athletes from different sporting backgrounds bringing their strengths into pickleball. The footwork from badminton, court awareness from tennis, reflexes from table tennis, and competitive mindset from many other sports all create a unique learning environment where everyone grows together.

Today wasn’t just about drills, techniques, and match play. It was about building confidence, making new friends, embracing challenges, and taking the first step towards something bigger.

Our vision extends beyond these 8 days. We hope to create a sustainable pathway for juniors who aspire to compete locally, regionally, and one day on the world stage. 🇸🇬

The future of Singapore junior pickleball will not be built by one player, one coach, or one academy alone. It will be built by a community of juniors, parents, coaches, and supporters who believe in investing in the next generation.

The journey to represent Singapore starts with showing up, putting in the work, and growing together—one session at a time.

@arono_pb won the professional coach award in his coaching course in Vietnam
